In 1982, I began my technology adventures when my dad got this new gadget called a computer for his business - a TRS-80 Model III. My dad asked me to try and learn a new spreadsheet program.
From 1982 to 1991, I put up a Bulletin Board System (BBS) and becoming one of the first Internet E-mail and then a World Wide Web providers in the state of Pennsylvania, USA.
In 1987, being one of the first physically disabled individuals, I graduated from Parkland High School and Lehigh County Vocational Technical School. I've continued my education throughout the years on various subjects regarding computers and other related areas.
In 1988, I was asked by a local transportation authority to create and maintain a small BBS for them, which then lead into providing their first-ever website. This website is still online today at https://www.lantabus.com and using some of the same technologies that I created when I originally had it.
During 2007 (after the original iPhone was introduced) I decided to become an independent software developer for Apple and my own company named 'Connecting People Software' (or CPSOFT). I create apps for the iPad, iPhone, Mac, and the other Apple-related technologies. You can check out my apps on the Apple App Store.
In 2010 and 2011, I was asked to do several presentations on my disability to college students who were studying to be special education teachers.
