After I graduated from Parkland High School and Lehigh County Vo-Tech, I was offered a job for a disability organization called The Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living where I became an Information and Referral Specialist and Peer Counselor.

One of my duties was to go around to elementary and high schools in the immediate area to speak about my disability and what it was like to be disabled.  I did that during my 7 year time at LVCIL.

In 2010 and 2011, I was asked to do the same for college students who were studying to be Special Education Teachers at Lehigh County Community College in Orefield and Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
