I was born a completely normal child in the late 1960's.  Five months later, I had to have a hernia operation.  During that time, I died on the operating table.  When the doctors brought myself back, it was eventually determined that I had Cerebral Palsy.

I have has had many challenges over the years, but thanks to my family and friends, I have overcome them.

In 1982, I was  awarded the " Conspicuous   Courage " plaque from Springhouse Junior High School for writing an article about my disability for the school's newspaper.  This award was given only one other time in the schools 15 year history.  I am also listed on the dean's list for making the honor roll all 4 marking periods in 1984.

During high school, I went to Lehigh County Vocational Technical School for Computers where I was elected Computer Safety Chairman of VICA. Leading the way as a Safety Chairman, I headed a committee that included 6 other students where we competed against thousands of students from the state of Pennsylvania for three years.  The committee won 2nd place for 2 years, and then won 1st place where we then went to Wichita, Kansas to compete against other students from around the United States.

Myself and two other individuals with disabilities were the first known physically disabled students to ever attend Parkland High School in Orefield, Pennsylvania.  Because of this, the school district developed procedures to assist students with disabilities that they use to this day.

After graduation, I assisted a local volunteer fire department create and develop their first computer committee.  Then, I went on to be their donation drive chairman and finally a corresponding secretary.

While doing this, I also assisted LANTA with developing their first internet web site, which is still online today.

Currently, I develops apps for the Apple ecosystem for the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.  You can view and/or download the apps by clicking here .

Finally, I've spoken about my disability and disabilities in general.  I've done several speaking engagements, including speaking to future special education teachers at Lehigh County Community College as well as 4th and 5th graders at local middle schools.
